Olesen-Olesen – Kain & Abel(2LP)

We’re incredibly excited to finally present Kain & Abel—the final Olesen-Olesen release and the last missing piece of their catalog on vinyl.

WWR has been around since 2007, and from day one our mission was clear: to bring all Olesen-Olesen and Greene releases to vinyl. With the band reuniting for a short tour in March 2026, the timing couldn’t be better to complete that journey.

Kain & Abel appears on vinyl for the first time ever in a strictly limited pressing of just 300 copies.
The record is pressed for the reunion tour, but will be available for pre-order here ahead of the tour, with shipping ultimo February.

Available exclusively through WWR and at the tour dates. After the tour, any remaining copies may be available in select shops—once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Kain & Abelputs a convincing full stop to the two brothers’ musical partnership, which—counting their previous joint projects (Skizo Kids, Sort-Hvide Landskaber, and Greene)—has lasted 25 years. The record shows that the brothers’ respective upcoming solo projects will be well worth listening to. Hopefully, they will manage to distance themselves further from Olesen-Olesen’s familiar sound and create new, distinctive points of departure. A radical musical shift from both gentlemen could prove even more interesting, and may also be necessary if their separation is to feel justified. Regardless, Kain & Abel remains a magnificent release from Olesen-Olesen.
